Daniel Cairns

Daniel is a materials engineer with over 21 years industrial experience in mineral processing, particle technology, and battery materials projects. He has led product development teams and industrialised innovative processes through scale up and validation.

At Johnson Matthey, he spent 10 years developing heterogeneous catalysts and leading particle technology projects before joining the Battery Materials division, spending 8 years working on pCAM and CAM projects.
At Worley Daniel works in the Consulting group as a technical manager, focusing on early-stage engineering studies, technical due diligence, and an SME for all aspects of the battery materials value chain.
